Belle Gray, a powerhouse singer/songwriter with equal parts heart, guts and grit, recently released her first two singles, "Go Home," and "Brand New," both co-produced by Grammy Award-nominated producer "Mama Jan" Smith (Justin Bieber, The Band Perry, Usher, etc.) and Jesse Owen Astin.
Her bold voice and demeanor come from surprisingly quiet beginnings in Dahlonega, Ga. – or, as she describes it: “the middle of nowhere.” As it turns out, “the middle of nowhere” contained the road to musical ambition for her when she traded in her volleyball for a guitar. It was then that her guitar teacher and mentor, the late Justin Cain, gave her the confidence to express herself through her voice, not just strings.
Her sound? Unapologetic pop/rock/indie to the core, not unlike her musical influences that range from Halsey to Blackbear, Post Malone, Dermot Kennedy, Kevin Gates and more. Despite her current sound palette, her voice is reminiscent of a 90’s angst-y chick rock.
When not staying up all night to write a song, Belle can be found hanging out with friends, working out at the gym and driving back and forth from Tennessee to Georgia.
Belle has graduated from Middle Tennessee State University where she has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a double minor in Criminal Justice and Criminal Investigations.
